Jonathan started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, before joining a listed blue-chip where he gained experience in internal audit, corporate mergers & acquisitions and worked in the investment team of its listed REIT.

In internal audit, he gained deep insights into internal controls and an operational perspective on how the various nuts and bolts of corporations work together. He worked on a wide range of projects, ranging from charitable funds, to subsidiaries, to an audit of the entire finance division of the listed company.

During his time in corporate mergers & acquisitions, he honed his financial modelling and due diligence skills, and was part of the team that closed a S$60m deal in the tech space.

In the REIT, he worked in the investment team analyzing targets, conducting financial modelling and performing financial due diligence within its Asia-Pacific investment mandate. He was also involved in Investor Relations work.

Jonathan currently is the Director of Joy Management Services Pte Ltd, providing corporate secretarial, taxation, accounting and advisory services. He is a Xero Certified Advisor and lead Xero trainer.

He also teaches Financial Reporting Standards at an Institute of Higher Education and is the author of “Ace Your Exams”, a self-help book for students.
